The design is simple but elegant. The sides are sharped and squared off, the cameras aren’t lined up like a house and they blend in perfectly in the back. This phone is fortified with an armor aluminum frame and a Gorilla Glass Victus+ back. Color options include Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Burgundy. Its dimensions are 77.9 x 163.3 x 8.9mm, which means it’s a touch thicker than past Galaxy Note handsets, and it has some weight to it at 229g.

A gently edged screen with a 6.8 display, topped by the incredible 120hz dynamic refresh rate (and a 240hz touch sample rate for gamers) which can go as low as 1hz to maximize battery life. It has a peak brightness of 1750 nits, which by any standard is the brightest. The phone is fitted with Dynamic Amoled 2x which gives stunningly sharp and vivid colors.

This ultimate phone houses 4 top of the line rear cameras and 1 front camera. The specs for these cameras being as:

Ram and Storage

The phone comes in four variants, 8/128GB, 12/256GB, 12/512GB and finally 12/1TB.

S Pen

Like a Note phone, this galaxy s22 ultra has an S Pen nicely tucked inside the phone, so it always stays with you. A massive upgrade over the last-gen S Pen is that its latency is reduced from 9ms to 2.8ms which is a 3x improvement.

Following the tradition, the phone will be on the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset (Snapdragon 8) in the US and with the Exynos chipset (Exynos 2200) in UK and Europe.

S22 Ultra comes with 5000 mAh with 45w fast charging and 15w wireless charging. The charger isn’t included with the device as expected.

Audio and Speakers

It’s a no-brainer that s22 ultra doesn’t feature an audio jack. For phone audio, you have two loudspeakers: a bottom-firing main one and a helper speaker in the earpiece.

Should you buy it? The early impressions are amazing, its performance and feel are out of the world, as the flagship phone from Samsung is always the most looked forward to. The premium specs do not compromise on anything and are the top contender for the best phone of the year, every year.
