Do you hate it when all of a sudden your earphones stop working? Perhaps the situation where only one side of the earphones is working? Well, that's been my situation for about a month now. And this wasn't new either. I've been buying new earphones every month just because of this.

My Decision

So a few days ago I finally decided to spend a bit more than usual, and get something that'll actually last a while. This was a tough task, to be honest. Due to a limited budget of around Rs.1000-2000, I couldn't find anything good. That's until I came across this company called Space Tech. And oh boy, I finally felt some luck.

They have all sorts of headphones, and in all categories and price ranges. Whether you need earphones, earbuds, wired or wireless headphones, you name it. They've got it all. Now I preferred to go with wireless headphones so I scrolled through multiple of their products until I arrived at the perfect headphones for me: the JAM HD.

Features

The thing that fascinated me the most was that it had 12 months of warranty. And knowing my past situation, this had me sold right there. Furthermore, they were offering a discount because of the summer sale they introduced last week. Talking about the hardware stuff, the headphones had an in-built microphone that allows receiving calls. They also had onboard controls that allow you to take control of your headphones with a single press. The charging time mentioned on their website was 2-3 hours with the standby time being up to a whopping 100 hours. They also had other nice features like a built-in FM and Micro SD Card player to play your own music without needing an additional device like your smartphone. So, I placed an order and they were delivered in 3 days after the order.

My Experience So Far

Now I have been testing them for 2 days and the sound from the speakers is pretty good. Now for some reason, the audio from the wireless mode was better than the wired mode. This might just be me though. The headphones are lightweight and I liked the design. The charging time is around 1.5 hours and the playtime is around 6 hours. That's enough to watch Justice League and the Snyder cut in one go and conclude how Joss Whedon and WB messed it all up.

However, they are definitely not good for prolonged usage. My ears would hurt after a certain period of use. The only other thing I dislike about these headphones is that there is no way you can determine how much charge is left. It can be 70% or 10% and the only way you know they need a charge is when the in-built voice of the headphones tells you to charge it. It would've been more convenient if they had an Android and IOS app or something that would tell the remaining battery life. The build quality of the headphones is completely plastic. But again, they aren't the most expensive headphones you can buy.

Conclusion

Overall, they are pretty good according to their price. If you want a headphone for your everyday use such as browsing YouTube or watching movies, and your budget is limited, I'd say go for it. If you think I missed something or have a suggestion, do let me know in the comments.
