Cooler Master Devastator 3 Plus Combo

Cooler Master Devastator 3 Plus Combo

If you're looking for a Budget Gaming Mouse + Keyboard Combo, the Cooler Master Devastator 3 Plus is definitely an option to consider.

The Cooler Master Devastator 3 Plus is an upgraded version of their older non-plus combo. This one offers a very similar and, in some cases, better feature set compared to the non-plus version.

Keyboard

The Keyboard you get with this combo offers CM's Memchanical switches and great build quality, even though it's made of plastic. The body is mainly textured which makes it immune to micro scratches and finger-prints. Although the key caps aren't very good at that. Their surface is plain and catches moisture and oil very quickly. But again, that's what every keyboard will do anyways. On the other hand, it offers a very sleek and gaming look and feel to it. For the price, there aren't many great options with this good aesthetics and design. The keyboard also offers a 7-color, reasonably bright RGB lighting system which can be changed using the Lighting key (located on the right of R-Alt key). However, the keyboard fails to remember your color choice and resets to the default red color on power loss.

Mouse

The Mouse you get with this combo is made of plastic as well, but it's also not immune to moisture and oil on your hand. Moreover, it also has the RGB lighting system, however with pulsating effects too this time. There's also a DPI switch that lets you choose from 800, 1200, 1600, 2400 DPI levels. This is very useful for different games and resolutions where you can quickly adjust the DPI of your mouse to adapt to the situation.

Conclusion

Unlike the keyboard, the mouse here isn't very ergonomic and I've been using it with a different Mouse since Day 1. But if your situation doesn't allow you to get a separate mouse, the one that comes with it is actually not that bad at all. As for keyboard, I've been using it for a long time now and I can easily recommend this combo just because of the keyboard. So far I haven't had any issues with it other than the fact that the light changes back to red every time I shut-down and power on my PC. Other than that, it really is a great deal.
